Thai Yoga Massage
Thai Massage was inspired by Buddhist teachings and is a blend of acupressure and assisted yoga postures. The massage itself consists of slow, rhythmic compressions and stretches that work along the energy lines of the body, known as Sen Lines. Over 70,000 sen lines exist within the body; by using the palms of the hands, thumbs, elbows and feet, 10 of the major sen lines are massaged to free tensions and stagnant energy from the body. In combination, the body is positioned in yoga-like poses and gently rocked to help open joints, facilitate limbering, circulation and lymphatic release.
Touch is a key element in both our physical and mental health. Thai Yoga Therapy not only provides relaxation and contentment but allows people the opportunity to experience wellbeing and a meditative mind, body connection.
